As a System Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating, and deploying complex OTT solutions that meet the business needs of our clients. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of OTT solutions.

Required skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in system integration, preferably in the OTT domain.
  • Solid understanding of OTT technologies and architectures, including video streaming, content management, and distribution.
  • Experience with AWS (or others) cloud-based technologies and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Tech skills that are a must:
  • General purpose scripting language, as Python, and Bash.
  • Linux hands-on experience.
  • Networking knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • MSSQL, MongoDB, CouchBase, ElasticSearch, Redis - operational knowledge - at least 3 from the list.
  • Log analysis - CLI / Kibana.
  • HTTP/S knowledges and hands-on experience.

These would also be nice:

  • Firewall/Security methodology (basic +) knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • CI/CD & Dockerized (K8S) system experience.
  • LoadBalancers topology knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • CDN knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Video analysis knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Fluency in Russian language, both written and spoken.

Scope of work:

  • Set up and configure OTT systems, including servers, and software.
  • Implement and configure integrations between various OTT system components and third-party platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OTT systems, such as various business flows, content ingest, playback, login, and much more.
  • Closely work with project managers to identify and manage risks and dependencies during OTT solution deployments.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to provide timely and effective responses to customer issues.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation related to OTT solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Kaltura teams, such as SRE, DevOps, QA, Support, Solution Architects, etc. to contribute and ensure the solutions are meeting our high standards.
  • Take a part in the team on-calls routines.
  • Participate in over the night Production activities
