About the Project

The DataOS team builds and supports a platform for processing and organizing data at AppsFlyer. We are creating a data lake that stores over 10PB of data and ingests more than 100TB daily. We are looking for passionate data engineers who thrive on staying at the cutting edge of technology and aren’t afraid to tackle massive-scale production systems.

What You’ll Bring:

A passion for designing and building scalable, high-performance data platforms.
3+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Solid experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and take on
challenges.
Ability to independently drive feature development from concept to delivery.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Bonus Points:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP .
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like T erraform.
Previous experience in building SaaS platforms or working in the Ad-T ech industry.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

What You’ll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data platform solutions and features from concept to production.
Build scalable systems for processing and organizing massive volumes of data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Data Engineers/Analysts, and Software Engineers, to deliver innovative data solutions.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve platform performance and reliability continuously.
Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous unit and integration testing.
Participate in system monitoring, on-call rotations, and troubleshooting to maintain platform stability.
